In this farmhouse renovation in the Lake District of northern Italy, the main living spaces are grouped around a garden, for privacy, light, and the most pleasant views. That portion of the house is where wood and farm implements were formerly stored. In the master plan, the path from a shared entry courtyard links an outdoor gallery and intimate courtyard to the garden.
