PACE UNIVERSITY

Pace University wanted to display banners on its 41 Park Row building, a New York City landmark that was originally headquarters of The New York Times. We replicated original escutcheons designed to hang gas lanterns from the limestone facade and anchored them to the stone without affecting its appearance. This strategy, historic research, and presentation earned a NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission Certificate of Appropriateness. (Structural Engineer: Gilsanz Murray Steficek.
