Soundtrack New York, a leading post-production audio facility, commissioned this 8700-sq.-ft. studio complex on two floors of a midtown loft building, as part of its strategy to move from records and commercials to film and television. It contains two mixing studios and a dubbing/sound effects studio, as well as a reception area, producers’ lounges, offices, exhibition gallery, and a skylit atrium for meals and breaks. Frosted glass at the storefront gives privacy to the lounges behind. We also designed the lighting and specified acoustic isolation for the facility.
