The original wood windows in this Park Slope rowhouse had been replaced with aluminum windows, resulting in Landmarks violations, which the owner needed to remove. We specified and detailed four historically appropriate window types, including eight-foot-tall curved glass “cottage-style” windows, for different locations in the building. We obtained a Certificate of Appropriateness, administered the construction process, and got the violations dismissed, allowing the owner to alter and refinance the building.
